


The Department of Information Science and Engineering, in association with NHCE IIC, organised a workshop on AI and Industry 4.0 Tools for Innovators and Entrepreneurs from 20th to 21st November 2025. The objective of the workshop was to teach participants the fundamentals of Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence in a simple and practical manner. The sessions introduced important tools and technologies widely used in modern industries.
Learners gained exposure to data analysis and machine learning through hands-on exercises. Real-life examples were explored to demonstrate how digital tools can be applied to solve problems. The workshop encouraged creative thinking and helped students develop an entrepreneurial mindset. Participants learned to analyse datasets, interpret results, and apply AI methods to real-world scenarios.
The sessions promoted innovation and guided learners to identify opportunities for technology-driven solutions. The workshop provided valuable technical skills, practical experience, and industry-relevant knowledge. These skills support academic growth, project development, and career readiness in AI.
Interactive activities and short evaluations assessed understanding of AI and Industry 4.0 concepts. Learners were able to identify real-world applications of these technologies. They also explained how AI and I4.0 tools can support innovation and entrepreneurship.
Participants demonstrated increased confidence in using modern software tools. Hands-on performance validated their learning outcomes and strengthened their practical knowledge. Overall, the workshop successfully combined theory, practice, and innovation to prepare students for future challenges.
