The Department of Information Science & Engineering successfully organized a one-day workshop titled “Mastering Pseudocode: A Structured Approach to Problem-Solving” on May 5, 2025. The session was conducted by Dr. Siva Balan. N, a distinguished expert from NTT Data, Bangalore. The workshop aimed to bridge the gap between algorithmic thinking and programming by emphasizing the importance of pseudocode in structured problem-solving.The primary goal of the workshop was to equip students with both theoretical insights and practical skills in writing pseudocode. It focused on helping participants understand how to outline the logic of a program without being constrained by the syntax of any specific programming language.
The workshop was well-received by students and faculty alike. It provided a solid foundation for structured programming and logical reasoning, which are essential skills in both academic and professional settings. Participants left with a clearer understanding of how to approach complex problems methodically using pseudocode.
