Alumni Talk – Introduction to Cloud Computing and Business Analytics

NOTE club of Information Science and Engineering Department organized a national level workshop on OpenCV on 29th of May, 2021. The resource person of the workshop was Mr. Gautam K S, Senior Assistant Professor, Dept. of ISE, NHCE. Students from different states participated in the event. The workshop started off with a theoretical explanation on the basic terminologies and concepts relating to images, image processing, pixels, mega pixels, etc. All these concepts also were explained with real life scenarios and examples.
The session was very interactive with many cross questioning and open discussion rounds between the speaker and the participants. After this, the workshop moved into a hands-on version, where we did everything from inversing of images, graying of images on different levels, etc. All the participants executed the code parallel to our speaker and there were also a lot of discussions on probable applications of these functions and on the common errors that could be made during implication of OpenCV in certain projects
