Mervin Shibhu George, won the First place in Hackathon Contest

4th semester student of ISE Department, Mervin Shibhu George ( 1NH17IS053) , won the First place in Hackathon Contest.
The 8th semester student participated in State Level 42nd Student Project Program of Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST)

The 7th semester student of Information Science and Engineering Department, Nithya Shree has participated in the SheCodes Project Competition organized by IEEE CIS Chapter and secured the second place.
Ms. Sonali Preetha Nanadagopalan and Ms. Silpa S got Special Category Award Named ‘ BRUTUS AWARD’

Students of 3rd Semester ISE Department, Ms. Sonali Preetha Nanadagopalan (1NH18IS109) and Ms. Silpa S (1NH18IS106) got Special Category Award Named ‘ BRUTUS AWARD’ in the final Round of Competition of ‘National Level SAP Semicolon Hackathon 2019’ held at SAP India, Whitefield, Bengaluru on 18/10/2019.
Best Project of the Year Award – KSCST

The final year students of Department of Information Science & Engineering submitted 20 social centric project proposals to Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) 43rd series of student projects programme during the academic year 2019-20 under the guidance of faculty members.
Lowes India Campus Challenge 2020

LOWE’S announced its first ever campus hackathon challenge in February 2020.
Around 1000 teams from across the country including NIT’s and top Engineering institutions participated in the challenge comprising of 3 rounds.
VTU – BCIC HACKATHON – 2020

Student teams from the Department of Information Science and Engineering participated in VTU – BCIC HACHATHON – 2020, conducted by VTU CPC and BCIC. The student team Silpa, Sonali and Prakruthi cleared all the rounds and entered to the final round.
