IEEE CIS SBC – GHRCE conducted three technical events in which the students of Information Science and Engineering Department actively took part and won the following positions.
National Engineering Leadership Cadre for Public service / Corona Safe Engineering Fellowship
Apurva Nagar, third semester student of Information Science and Engineering Department selected to National Engineering Leadership Cadre for Public service / Corona Safe Engineering fellowship, a national program to identify the top students in software engineering for an industry-led training to become full-stack developers and volunteer as the national engineering leadership cadre for public service.
Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) 44th series of student projects programme
The final year students of Department of Information Science & Engineering submitted 23 social centric project proposals to Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) 45th series of student projects programme during the academic year 2021-22 under the guidance of faculty members. Among 23 projects, 12 Projects were approved for sponsorship.

The final year students of Information Science & Engineering Department, Sonali Preetha Nanadagopalan and Silpa S are recognized as NPTEL ENTHUSIAST for JAN-APR 2022

Toycathon 2021 is an inter-ministerial initiative organized by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell with support from All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
