CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The Computer Society of India (CSI) Student Chapter was officially inaugurated on November 20, 2024, at New Horizon College of Engineering, to foster a vibrant community of aspiring computer science professionals. The chapter seeks to promote collaboration, innovation, and skill development through a variety of educational and professional initiatives. The event outlined the chapter’s objectives, introduced its leadership team, and previewed upcoming programs.

The highlight of the inauguration was an inspiring address by the Chief Guest, Ms. Arpitha, Project Manager at Intact Green Services. She congratulated the institution and its students on launching the CSI Student Chapter, recognizing it as a pivotal step in bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application in technology. Ms. Arpitha spoke about the significant impact of professional societies like CSI in shaping future tech leaders. Drawing from her own career experiences, she stressed the importance of continuous learning, innovation, and networking in navigating the dynamic landscape of computer science.
