Guest Talk on “Transaction Management and Embedded SQL”

The department of Information Science and Engineering has conducted an online expert talk on the topic “Transaction Management and Embedded SQL” for the 4th semester students on 25th of June, 2022. The Speaker Mr. Vaibhav A. Nandkule currently working as a Senior Consultant, Prowess Software.
He has demonstrated, how transactions are executed concurrently (one after another) using different types of Transaction Control Language(TCL) commands like commit or rollback as well as the concepts of read and write operations.

- Transaction Management
- State diagram of the transaction.
- Commit & Rollback
- Conflict operations.
The outcome of this expert talk is that the students were provided good knowledge about the transaction management in the database management system.
