CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The coding-contest “TECH TARGET” was conducted on 14th January, 2023 by NHCE-ISTE Student chapter under the Department of Information Science and Engineering in association with Indian Society for Technical Education. The contest started around 10:00 a.m. in the morning with an enthusiastic participation of 160+ students. The event had two rounds in total:

1. Prelims
2. Finale

This contest was conducted to test the participant’s critical thinking, technical thinking and problem solving skills. It was an individual event. This contest comprised of two rounds, the first round ‘prelims’ had a set of 3 technical questions of medium level of difficulty and they were allowed to solve it in any preferred language.60 minutes were given to each participants, based on the number of correct and accurate answers, the points were awarded.

Top 29 participants were qualified for round-2. The final round was named the ‘finale’ which again was an individual event. Around 29 students got selected to the final round, where the students were given set of 2 questions of medium and hard levels of difficulty. The duration for this round was for 60 minutes. The winners were selected on the basis of speed, correctness and accuracy.

The winners were awarded with certificates and mementos. The Tech-Target was concluded without hassle and with significant cooperation from the participants.
