Three day FDP on Cyber Security and Digital Forensics
The Department of ISE and ECE in collaboration with CISCO has conducted a three day FDP on Cyber Security and Digital Forensics from 12th to 14th December. Eminent personalities from CISCO(12 Speakers for various sessions) have taken the sessions on CISCO firewall, web security , Digital Forensics, Mitigation technologies for E-mail, Web based end point threats, Research in Cyber Security, IoT/M2M security etc. The FDP was successfully completed with a satisfactory and positive feedback from audience. This FDP enriched the Knowledge of faculties through interaction with eminent personalities from CISCO . The knowledge sharing will improve the teaching learning process to the students and in turn benefit the society.
Through this FDP faculties got exposure to:
- Theoretical and practical concepts of internet security
- Importance of cyber security aspects in real life scenarios
- Acquainted with relevant cyber security tools
- Hands-on Training to configure Cisco firewall technologies
