Webinar – VIGYAN UTSAV
Information Science and Engineering department of New Horizon College of Engineering attended a webinar named VIGYAN UTSAV on R&D Infrastructure on 11th of November 2021 with total attendantees of 180 students, The event started at 10:30 AM, commencing with various speechs and went on till 12:30 PM.The webinar was conducted by KSCST, Mr. H Hemanth Kumar, Dr. Raghunandan Rajamani, Dr. Rohit Kumar H.G., Shri Jitendra J Jadhav, Prof. Biswajit Paul, Prof. Vidhyadhiraja N.S, Mrs. Anjani.
The entire webinar was divided into six phases with the following objecives
- Showcasing the R&D Infrastructure of the State and policies towards its utilization.
- Need for development of R&D Infrastructure and its role in industry and economic growth.
- Showcasing the policy of the state in Shaping Regional and Local Ecosystems
- The sessions will reflect the importance of R&D infrastructure of the State, gaps in industrial requirements interms of R&D Infrastructure and the need of industry academia collaborations.
Students of 5th semester attended the workshop and had an knowledgeable session. They understood the importance of future scope and research in this domain. Also the speakers emphasized the required skill set for advancement in this domain.
The webinar ended with a positive note enriching the students to work towards the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
