On 19th September 2025, the Department of Information Science and Engineering, in association with the Center of Excellence Lab and Juniper Networks, organized a workshop on “Cloud Networked Robotics.”
The session was conducted by Mr. Tarun Y L, R&D Associate-L1 at Talentronics Infotech Pvt. Ltd. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of robotics and its real-world applications across industries. Key components such as chassis, motors, sensors, controllers, and power systems were explained in detail. The concept of cloud-networked robotics was explored, highlighting its role in enabling intelligent and collaborative systems.
Students learned the design and programming principles of a 4WD obstacle-avoiding robot.
Hands-on insights helped participants understand autonomous navigation using sensors and logic. The workshop enhanced students’ technical knowledge and inspired interest in robotics projects and careers. It was a successful initiative to bridge academic learning with practical innovation in robotics. The session concluded with enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from attendees.
