Workshop on Teaching Programming Subjects Using Digital Technologies
Department of Information Science and Engineering organized a workshop on “Teaching Programming Subjects Using Digital Technologies” on 5th September, 2019. Faculties from department of ISE, CSE, ECE and MCA were invited for the workshop. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Tomesh Jain, Zonal Head, CodeTantra Tech solutions Pvt. Ltd. The speaker emphasized on the enhancement of teaching learning experience through various digital technologies. He introduced various methods of teaching programming subjects giving importance to student centric learning and hands on approach. Demonstration of the CodeTantra platform and hands on experience on the platform was also given to the participants. It was an interactive session as the speaker encouraged the faculties to give their opinions about each of the points he was emphasizing on. Overall it was a very useful workshop and faculties were motivated to implement the methodologies discussed in the session.
