The Department of Information Science and Engineering organised a full-day workshop on Vibe Coding as part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations under the theme TechXcelerate: Igniting Minds for Transformative Innovation Using New Age Technologies on 25.02.2026. The session introduced students to AI-driven, prompt-based approaches that enhance creativity and efficiency in software development.
Mr Gangadhar Immadi, Technical Lead at Vtricks Technologies, served as the resource person for the workshop. He shared valuable insights into AI-assisted development and the emerging trends shaping the future of software engineering. Participants explored the fundamental concepts of Vibe Coding and its relevance in next-generation development workflows.
Live demonstrations illustrated how AI tools enable rapid prototyping and creative code generation. Students also engaged in hands-on activities, experimenting with AI-powered coding tools and various customisation techniques.
The workshop highlighted how AI can transform traditional coding practices into more intuitive and innovative processes. Interactive discussions encouraged students to exchange ideas and gain a deeper understanding of real-world applications of AI in software engineering.
Overall, the session enhanced technical confidence, fostered creative thinking, and inspired students to explore advanced AI-driven development methodologies.
