Guest Talk: Integrating DBMS with AI
The Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE), New Horizon College of Engineering had organized an Industry expert talk on “Integrating DBMS with Artificial Intelligence.” on 27/06/2024 for the 4th semester students. The event aimed to explore the symbiotic relationship between Database Management Systems (DBMS) and AI, showcasing their pivotal role in modern technology. The ISE department hosted Mr. Tarun R Jain, a distinguished Data Scientist from AI Planet, as the keynote speaker.
He discussed various use cases where AI tools leverage DBMS to enhance functionality across sectors like education, ecommerce, retail, and manufacturing. The session not only broadened students’ understanding of AI technologies but also highlighted the crucial role of DBMS in harnessing the power of artificial intelligence across various domains.
